Is it safe to pay with my card online?
This online store uses a sophisticated mechanism to detect and prevent fraud-indicating actions. Through this solution, it is possible to verify the authenticity of payments made online, while safeguarding the integrity and security of customer data, as well as their identification.
This security is made possible by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which encrypts the communications produced between the client’s computer and our server, so that they cannot be intercepted. As such, Casa Lima reserves the right to refuse payment for an order for a transaction that is considered illegal. Any and all activities considered illegal will be immediately reported to the competent authorities.
3D Secure: 3D Secure is a communication protocol developed to improve the security of online payments and enable the authentication of the credit card user with the issuing bank. When making a payment in an online store, a process is triggered to verify that the card used is valid. If so, the security systems associated with the 3D Secure protocol verify the customer’s identity, using the credit card issuer in real time. This validates the customer’s identity and informs the store’s system that the card used is legitimate.
The objective is to protect credit card holders, reducing the likelihood of fraudulent use of their cards and improving transaction performance. This protocol is used by Visa, under the name “Verified By Visa”, and by Mastercard, under the name “Secure Code”.
ATM
Payments by Multibanco can be made through the ATM Network or through your Homebanking.
At the end of your order, an ATM reference will be generated. The customer will receive this reference in the order confirmation email.
To pay at an ATM, the customer must select the option “Payment for Services/Purchases” and enter the corresponding entity, reference and amount.
MBWAY
The customer can pay for his order through the MB WAY payment system. To do so, in the ordering process, you must select this payment method and indicate the mobile number to which the application is associated, access it and follow the indicated purchase confirmation steps.
If the number entered does not correspond to a payment number registered in that application, the following message will be displayed: “It was not possible to validate your payment. We received the following message: Inexisting MB WAY alias”. As indicated in the application, payment must be made within five minutes, otherwise the order will be cancelled.
